Italy by Ferrari presented by Capital Dream Cars
Terms & Conditions:
The following generally outlines the terms and conditions of Capital Dream Cars and its Italian Tour Partner. (A detailed version is available upon request.) These terms and conditions shall govern all matters regarding the Italy by Ferrari tour and are accepted unconditionally.
A. Reservations:
An Italy by Ferrari Reservation Form must be fully completed and faxed with accompanying identification to Capital Dream Cars at the time of booking.
Any special requirements or requests must be made in writing by Client at the time of Reservation so Capital Dream Cars and Italian Tour Partner can do their utmost to honor them. Every effort will be made to accommodate special requests, but there is no guarantee they can be made.
B. Confirmations & Payments:
A Reservation is confirmed only after Capital Dream Cars and Italian Tour Partner have provided written confirmation of services.
Fee Schedule:
- 25% deposit of the total sales price is required at the time of booking and must be received by Italian Tour Partner within three (3) days of written confirmation of Client’s Reservation. If the deposit is not received by the close of business on the third day, Client’s Reservation is subject to cancellation.
- 75% of the total sales price (remaining balance) must be received by Italian Tour Partner no later than 65 days prior to the start date of the tour. Reservations for which payment is not received according to this fee schedule are subject to cancellation without refund.
- Reservations made and confirmed in writing by Capital Dream Cars and Italian Tour Partner under 65 days of the tour start date are to be paid, in full, and received by Italian Tour Partner within three (3) days of written confirmation of Client’s Reservation or be subject to cancellation without refund.
Capital Dream Cars prefers VISA, MasterCard, and American Express cards as forms of payment. Cashier's checks and wire transfers are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Personal checks are not accepted. Italian Tour Partner shall determine the method of payment to be accepted for security deposit and any additional fees.
C. Services & Changes of Services:
In the event of non-availability of a specific hotel, car, or restaurant during the tour, Italian Tour Partner shall obtain a substitute of the same or superior quality and level.
D. Changes & Cancellations:
In the case of cancellation, Client is subject to the following penalties, regardless of reason:
- From 60 – 45 days prior to tour departure: 35% of the total sales cost.
- From 45 – 30 days prior to tour departure: 65% of the total sales cost.
- Less than 30 days prior to tour departure: 100% of the total sales cost.
- During tour: 100% of the total sales cost.
E. Driver Requirements:
Client must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing for a minimum of 3 years prior to the tour departure date.
Client must drive the tour vehicle in a careful, prudent, and responsible manner, and must use the tour vehicle as intended. Client must scrupulously comply with and follow all applicable highway codes, speed limits, and rules while driving tour vehicle.
Client is personally liable and responsible under civil and criminal law for all of his/her actions. Capital Dream Cars or Italian Tour Partner shall not be held responsible for any injury, damage, or lack of adequate insurance caused or incurred by Client.
F. Vehicles:
All vehicles provided by Italian Tour Partner are in perfect working condition.
The Client is solely liable for any damage and any deterioration to the vehicle, with the exception of the effects of normal wear and tear.
During the duration of the tour, Client is obliged to follow the Tour Director. Any other option has to be previously discussed and agreed on, in writing, with the Tour Director.
Tour Director will take care of cleaning, maintaining, and re-fueling the cars.
A security deposit, to be paid to Italian Tour Partner at the time the last payment under this rental agreement is due, is required according to the following table:
- 15,000 Euros for F430 Coupe F1; F430 Spider F1; 612 Scaglietti
- 20,000 Euros for 599 GTB Fiorano F1; F430 Light Pista F1 (Scuderia)
Upon Client’s completion of the tour and return of the vehicle(s) to vehicle(s) owner’s representative, the vehicle(s) will be inspected. If inspection supports no damage caused by the Client, the security deposit will be fully refunded.
G. Insurance (Please Read Carefully):
Client participating in the Italy by Ferrari tour is required to purchase a Red Style Insurance Card, which includes a comprehensive insurance policy covering the expenses arriving from cancellation of the package, accidents, theft, and damage to luggage, return travel in the event of illness.
Red Style Insurance Card costs (per person):
- $280 for the 5-day tour
- $350 for the 6-day tour
Principal guarantees and coverage comprised in the Fondiaria-Sai policy:
- Cancellation: Reimbursement of the sum due on withdrawal up to a maximum of 75% (excluding cancellations in the eight days prior to the start of the tour)
- Loss & Damage to luggage and personal effects: Total maximum of 5,000 Euros
- Road Accidents: Death; Permanent invalidity. Maximum of 150,000 Euros.
- Medical Expenses: Maximum of 25,000 Euros
- Personal assistance services package: Sending of medical staff, an ambulance, conveyance for health reasons, indication of specialists, health information, assistance in the event of death, travel of a relative, premature return journey, cash advance.
Car Insurance:
- Civil Responsibility: Insurance pays up to 2,585,284 Euros for damage caused to a third party in case of an accident.
- Theft and Fire: Insurance pays the whole amount minus 10%.
- In case of accident involving another car and the driver IS at fault: Insurance pays the whole amount minus 15%.
- In case of accident involving another car and the driver IS NOT at fault: Insurance pays the whole amount.
- In case of an accident with no other car involved (for example, the driver crashes into a tree): Insurance pays nothing and Client’s car deposit is used to cover reparation expenses to the car.
Ferrari Tour participants understand that the above outline of coverage is merely a summary and are advised to read the insurance documents carefully regarding coverage. Italian Tour Partner and Capital Dream Cars do not represent that the above insurance coverage is sufficient for Client. Client may obtain additional car, travel, and/or any other type of insurance that Client deems is necessary. Italian Tour Partner can assist participants in the purchase of additional insurance(s) if requested.
