Announcing the
Arrival of the Lamborghini Gallardo
The Lamborghini Gallardo joins our Ferrari 360 Spider and Bentley Continental GT as the latest
addition to our roster of world-class, self-drive rental
automobiles.
Inspired by the design of modern fighter
jets, the Gallardo, like its "big brother" Murcielago, is
muscular and dynamic in styling and performance. From
razor-sharp headlights to deep side air intakes and long edgy
lines of bodywork, the Gallardo is rolling avant-garde art.
And so much more.
They don't call it one of
Sant'Agata's raging bulls for nothing. The Gallardo boasts a
5.0 liter, V10 engine that produces the power of 500 horses
and can go from zero to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds. And, yet, it is
also a remarkably balanced vehicle with a drive some have even
dared to call smooth.
The Gallardo's E-Gear
transmission has three settings-Automatic, Normal and Sport-so
there's something for everyone. "Automatic" for a more
civilized drive, "Normal" which allows the driver to switch
gears manually with electronic override in the upper rpms, and
"Sport" which does not shift up automatically and dramatically
shortens the time to shift gears.
Our Gallardo is
equipped with many upgraded features and options, including:
all-wheel drive, power seats, dual heated seats and floor
mats, heated exterior mirrors, on-board computer, coming home
function, 19" alloy wheels and silver brake
calipers.
Its color is not only signature Lamborghini
yellow, it is Giallo Midas, which is the upgrade, three-layer
metallic yellow that pops visually, and the interior is a
sleek black. An outrageously attractive color combination, but
